Sterrehof’s Baccarat is one of Marc Houtzager’s Grand Prix horses. This athletic son of Padinus jumps with a phenomenal technique and already showed his potential at a young age. In 2014, he managed to achieve a third place in the Donaueschingen Grand Prix. A confirmation of his talent came in the winter of 2015, when Baccarat was placed sixth in the Grand Prix of the prestigious Longines Hong Kong Masters. This result was later on followed by high placings in several important classes and Grands Prix in Rotterdam, Kapellen, Dortmund, Hagen and Münster.
In 2018 Baccarat finished fourth in the Grand Prix of CSI Twente, shortly after a strong performance in the GCT of Hamburg. He had a dream debut in the Nations Cup of Aachen where the Dutch team finished third.
