17-year-old Sterrehof's Dante repeats victory of 2020
Sterrehof’s Dante and Marc have won the FEI World Cup at Jumping Amsterdam in unprecedented fashion. This happened exactly at the edition in which we said goodbye as a long-time sponsor of this great show, which makes it all extra special!
Credits to Marc
A half year after her victory in the Grand Prix of CHIO Rotterdam, 17-year-old Dante once again amazed everyone by winning also the main class in our capital, a result she had already achieved exactly five years ago. All credits belong to her rider. Our mare has no secrets to Marc who knows exactly how to peak with her when they have to.
In great style
During the Anemone Horse Trucks Grand Prix of Amsterdam powered by Stoeterij Sterrehof, Dante already proved to be in superb form but unluckily jumped one rail down. One day later a beautiful clear followed in the first round of the World Cup event. Only five other combinations managed to do also, after which our super duo was able to finish the job in the jump-off in great style.
‘This audience gives you wings’
Afterwards Marc said: ‘I didn’t expect this result. I have to give all the credit to my mare. What a fighter and what a quality she has! Dante may be seventeen, but she is super fit. I make my own plan with her, don’t just ride the big shows, but also smaller ones. This is working out great for her. I also want to thank the people in the stands. This audience gives you wings!’
A special moment was the involvement of Ivo and Ellen were in the prize giving ceremony as owners of Dante and loyal sponsors of this show. A day earlier, both were already put in the limelight prior to the Grand Prix, which carried Stoeterij Sterrehof’s name for the fourteenth and last time.

Super result Loeca N.D.
Besides all these great moments, the wonderful result of Loeca N.D. and Marc should not go unmentioned. The only nine-year-old gelding we recently managed to keep for Marc showed his potential by finishing beautifully fifth in the 1.50m class, prior to the World Cup competition.
