Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. already showed her potential at a young age under the saddle of Dominique Nijhof-Roelofsen. In the second half of 2017 she found a new partner in Julia Houtzager-Kayser. Together with Julia the lovely Dante made her breakthrough at 1.50m level. The duo achieved many nice successes like a fourth place during the CSI Dounaueschingen.
In 2018 Dante continued her career with Marc. This duo already realised several great results. In 2019, they won the CSI Tubbergen Grand Prix and were also winners during CHIO Twente. Next to that they finished second in La Coruña, Treffen, Paris, Dortmund and Kronenberg and realised a third place in the Grand Prix of Gorla Minore and at the Equita Masters of Lyon and a fifth in the GCT Grands Prix of Saint Tropez and of New York, the World Cup of Verona and La Coruña and in the prestigious Prize of Europe at CHIO Aachen.
In 2020 Dante realised a new highlight by winning the FEI World Cup qualifier at Jumping Amsterdam. Later on in this ‘Corona year’ she and Marc also won the Dutch title at the national championships in Kronenberg.
One year later Dante and Marc were part of the winning Dutch team at the Nations Cup of the CHIO Rotterdam. After that result an olympic selection for the Tokyo Olympics followed. During her first big championship she finished just outside the podium with the Dutch team and reached the individual final.
Dante herself is a daughter of the Holsteiner bred Canturano I and the KWPN mare Zidante, who is at her turn a half-sister of the international classified Campari.
