In the shadow of Calimero and Baccarat the younger Edinus is developing towards the highest level under the saddle of Marc Houtzager. Already at the age of seven he jumped one clear after the other in young horses competitions and at small tour level. In 2017 Edinus continued this success with strong performances in Drachten and Villach. In the second half of the year he made a successful promotion towards 1.50m level which was crowned with top results in Sopot, Brussels and Donaueschingen. Highlights in his still early career were the second place in the Grand Prix of Dortmund and the victory in the Glock’s Championat at CSI5* Treffen in 2018. Exactly one year later Edinus finished fifth in the Treffen GP.
This 5* Grand Prix horse is out of a strong dam line and a descendant of Padinus, which makes him a half-brother of Sterrehof’s Baccarat.
