Successful comeback of Calimero during the CSI Exloo
Starting the new year with a successful comeback is always nice. Sterrehof’s Calimero was responsible for this during the CSI Exloo. Our top-class gelding, who has now started his eighth international year, displayed a strong performance in the Grand Prix. With his trusted rider in the saddle he didn’t make a jumping fault in the first round. It was only the time allowed that prevented qualification for the jump-off.
Missing the finale by a hair’s breadth did offer Marc the opportunity to fully focus on Julia. She clinched the third place with High Five in this GP. The day before, daughter Nina already was responsible for a fantastic result. The only thirteen years old rider won the CSI1* Medium Tour final with Fonia Again.
