On My Mind, bred by Willem Greve, to KWPN Stallion Show
In 2019 the first crop of our breeding stallion Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z was born. Out of this exclusive number of six offspring, of which various talents are present at Sterrehof Stud, a striking stallion has now been selected for the second round viewing of the KWPN stallion inspection. It concerns the 2.5-year-old On My Mind, a breeding product of top rider Willem Greve. He bred this Cayetano colt out of the 1.60m mare Dolores MB (by Thunder van de Zuuthoeve).
Interesting pedigree
Cayetano (himself by Caretano Z) also jumped at the highest level and did this successfully for many years under the saddle of Julia Houtzager-Kayser. This breeding stallion, approved by both the KWPN and Studbook Zangersheide, has also a genetically very interesting pedigree as a grandson of the legendary Ratina Z. Her daughter Calipa Z produced no fewer than eight international jumping horses. Four of them jumped at 1.60m level and the most successful one is Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z!
