Baccarat and Marc Houtzager finish fifth in 1.50m class with winning round
Sterrehof’s Baccarat and Marc performed superbly in one of the main classes of the World Cup show in Madrid. In this 1.50m competition with winning round on Saturday our duo belonged to the few combinations that had a clean sheet. After a well-controlled ride in the winning round, a nice fifth place followed as end result. Earlier at this show Marc and first trump Sterrehof’s Calimero also made it to the price giving ceremony. During this competition at 1.45m level they finished on one time penalty and a ninth place.
In the main class, the World Cup of Madrid on Sunday, Marc and Calimero grabbed beside the prizes and the world cup points. One jumping fault in the first round prevented a chance to greater success. The same applied for Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z and Julia. Both fought to stay clear but unfortunately had one rail down too.
