Dante and Marc fourth in the Salzburger Championat
Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. and Marc realised their first top result of 2021 already early in the year. After a long corona break the reigning Dutch champions warmed up last week at the CSI2* of Opglabbeek. During the CSI4* of Salzburg they showed more competitiveness. On Saturday evening no fewer than 65 combinations started in the Championat of the Austrian city. In this second most important class of the show, a total of thirteen horses and their riders managed to stay clear, including our top duo.
Convincing round
In the jump-off of this 1.55m class, Dante and Marc jumped another convincing round. With short turns and more gallop they attacked the fences and managed to clinch a nice fourth place.
The next day the Grand Prix was scheduled. Dante jumped excellent again, but a single rail fell early in the course and prevented a top position this time. At the end our duo finished on thirteenth place.
