Dante and Marc achieve second podium place with Dutch team in a week
A week after the successful performance in the Rolex Nations Cup of the CSIO Rome, Sterrehof’s Dante N.O.P. and Marc were also successful in the FEI Longines Nations Cup of St. Gallen. In the first round our top duo finished with 4 penalty points, after a jumping fault on the planks. It was clear that Dante displayed a strong form which was confirmed in the second round of this very difficult Nations Cup. Being again the final combination of the Orange team, Dante and Marc jumped a convincing clear round and thus copied their own result from Rome while the Netherlands (with also Jur Vrieling, Sanne Thijssen and Jack Ansems) did even better in the final ranking and finished second behind the winning Swiss! Sterrehof’s Calimero
In addition to this great result, there was more good news to mention from Sankt Gallen, as Sterrehof’s Calimero was also doing well during this prestigious show. On Saturday he clinched a beautiful eighth place in a FEI ranking class, with no fewer than 80 starting combinations. The next day he jumped well in a 1.50m class, but regretfully finished on 4 penalty points. Last but not least there was a super result for Marc in the Grand Prix. With Holy Moley owned by Fred Lodewijk he ended up as sixth.
