World Cup points for Calimero and Marc

Marc and Sterrehof’s Calimero jumped towards a seventh place in the Longines FEI World Cup of Madrid. They achieved this good result after two clear rounds, including an exciting jump-off in which the top seven finished within 1,1 seconds. With this result our combination collected ten points, which forms a basis for the rest of the current WC season in the Western European League.

Beside the success in the 1.60m main class there was more to celebrate in the Spanish capital. Sterrehof’s Bylou and Marc grabbed a third spot in two 1.45m classes against the clock. In the same classes Sterrehof’s Dante and Julia were also able to stay clear. Their highest finish was a decent ninth place. Together with her top horse Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z Julia performed slightly better in the 1.55m main class on Friday. After a pretty quick and convincing clear round they were rewarded with a seventh place.
