Emerald daughter Ushi reserve champion Friesland

At the foal selection of the KWPN Region Friesland, a daughter of Sterrehof’s Ushi (picture above) was placed second and deserved at a ticket for the National KWPN Foal Selection. This filly, named Tushi and sired by Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof, was last year auctioned as an embryo at Paardenveilingonline.com and became the auction’s top seller.

On behalf of the KWPN, inspector Wim Versteeg says of the reserve champion: “Tushi KB has an appealing model. Striking was her light-footed canter and her balance, which you could also see in her easy way of changing leg.” Congratulations to the Swedish owners and of course success at the Nationals in Ermelo!

With this result added, it has already become a remarkably successful 2023 for the progeny of GP mare Ushi. The daughter of Vigo d’Arsouilles out of the dam line of Narcotique de Muze II recently gave us a striking filly by Balou du Reventon and previously a filly by Comme Il Faut. The latter has been selected for the upcoming edition of Flanders Foal Auction. Finally, we could of course celebrate a superb result by Mercurius S. The grandson of Ushi triumphed impressively in the 1.20m final of the Stoeterij Sterrehof Trophy at Outdoor Gelderland.
